Junior Shooting Team, Hunting & Education Programs

LBRA NSSF Scholastic Clay Target Program  The Scholastic Clay Target Program provides school-age participants in grades 12 and under with the opportunity to showcase their competitive shooting skills and earn state and national recognition. The program is designed to instill in participants safe firearms handling, commitment, responsibility, leadership and teamwork.

The Scholastic Clay Target Program is a cooperative effort between the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the firearms industry's largest and most diverse trade association with 2,200 members, and the governing bodies for trapshooting, skeetshooting and sporting clays shooting - the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA), the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) and the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA), respectively.

LBRA USA Shooting- LBRA  Shotgun, Rifle & Pistol Teams  USA Shooting is the national governing body for the Olympic shooting sports and those governed by the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF). The organization is responsible for training and selecting the shooting teams to represent the United States at World Cups, World Shooting Championships, the Pan American Games, and the Olympic Games. In addition, USA Shooting manages development programs and sanctions events at the local, state, regional, and national levels, including the national shooting championships.

Scholastic Rifle ProgramSM    The National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc., responding to the many requests from youth groups, coaches and individuals requesting a rifle event for .22 rimfire rifles and/or air rifles, takes pleasure in introducing for 2004 the Scholastic Rifle ProgramSM (SRPSM). Organically the SRP is similar to the very popular Scholastic Clay Target ProgramSM. It is an adult leader-led, team-based, action-oriented youth development program designed to offer elementary, middle and high school students an inexpensive way to enjoy the shooting sports. The focus is on SAFETY and FUN.

Whether you are involved as a team member or a Team Advisor there is plenty of SAFE FUN and EXCITEMENT awaiting you in the Scholastic Rifle Program. Give it a try. You will be glad you did!  http://www.nssf.org/SRP/
